Stick Flex Profile

The Tacks Recharge Pro stick features a Supercharged Mid-Kick point. This is a redesigned mid-flex profile that offers the ultimate shooting experience by combining a softer upper and lower shaft with a stiff middle section for maximum loading. This design lets players generate harder, more powerful shots with less effort.

Shaft Construction

The shaft on this stick uses a rounded “R” geometry, which is intended to provide a more comfortable grip and a better feel for the player compared to previous shaft geometries. This shape is also designed to reduce air resistance when in use, increasing shot speed and accuracy. The shaft is also designed with Nanolite Shield Technology which is a high-performance carbon layering technology which creates a stick that’s both incredibly light and strong.

The shaft also features CCM’s Novashock Fuze hosel. This is a revised shaft-to-blade connection that creates a lighter, better-balanced stick while delivering the most explosive release on the market. This design channels maximum energy into every shot for unmatched power.

Blade Construction

The blade on this hockey stick is designed with the Tri-Force Blade. This innovative blade construction reduces cupping and maximizes energy transfer for more accurate releases. The three-zone stiffness profile ensures stability and precision even on heavily loaded shots.

Throughout the blade and shaft, CCM included their Sigma ST2X Weave. This next evolution of Sigmatex’s carbon weave is used to keep further improving manufacturing consistency to create stronger, more durable sticks, improving longevity and performance.

Grip

The Recharge Pro has been constructed with a Pro Raised Grip. A highly requested grip texture, it provides players with an improved tactile feel and prevents the top hand from slipping during intense play.

Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length

The CCM Tacks Recharge Pro Senior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: P28+¼, P29+¼, P88, and P90TM. A new feature CCM continues to use is the +¼ option which is designed to add puck control for players.

P29 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. However, this curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.

P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.

P90TM takes elements from the P92 and P28 but it is just a bit taller.

P88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly in stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snap shots.
